Frigocare Refrigeration, in its R&D center established to create the scientific infrastructure of product-based cold storage design; It develops special preservation protocols for each of the fruit-vegetable, meat-dairy products, seafood, bakery products and processed food categories. Within the scope of these studies
- Post-harvest and post-process physiological behaviors of the products are analyzed,
- Optimum temperature-humidity curves are created,
- Controlled atmosphere (CA), modified atmosphere (MA) and rapid cooling (pre-cooling) techniques are compared,
- Cooling algorithms that increase energy efficiency are tested,
- Controlled atmosphere (CA), modified atmosphere (MA) and rapid cooling (pre-cooling) techniques are compared. All data obtained is integrated into the equipment and control systems produced by the company.
Technical publications and product-based storage guides prepared in the R&D center both provide users with access to correct storage processes and contribute to the advancement of the technologies developed by Frigocare Refrigeration in line with scientific data. Thus, each food product is preserved in the most sensitive and efficient conditions appropriate to its own dynamics.
